About the Role

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead the delivery of mechanical and electrical maintenance operations across a large, complex site. This Engineering Manager role is responsible for managing planned and reactive maintenance, driving asset strategy, and leading a high-performing engineering team to ensure operational excellence.

The Engineering Manager will play a key role in developing best practice, supporting strategic site objectives, and ensuring compliance with all health, safety, and quality standards. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated leader who thrives in a fast-paced engineering environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead planned and reactive maintenance activities across site services
  • Manage and develop a team of engineering professionals
  • Oversee asset planning and support long-term site development strategy
  • Coordinate daily team activities, scheduling, and performance management
  • Manage contractors and service partners to ensure safe and effective delivery
  • Monitor KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with QHSE standards and operational requirements
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost control for maintenance operations
  • Oversee CMMS and asset management systems performance
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to improve service delivery and efficiency
  • Identify and resolve technical and operational issues

Requirements

  • Qualified in a Engineering discipline, Building Services, or related discipline
  • Proven experience in building services or engineering maintenance
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
  • Experience managing contractors and vendor relationships
  • Understanding of QHSE and compliance requirements
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Experience using CMMS systems and Microsoft Office
  • Background in manufacturing, production, or logistics environments desirable
