About the Role
We are seeking an experienced professional to lead the delivery of mechanical and electrical maintenance operations across a large, complex site. This Engineering Manager role is responsible for managing planned and reactive maintenance, driving asset strategy, and leading a high-performing engineering team to ensure operational excellence.
The Engineering Manager will play a key role in developing best practice, supporting strategic site objectives, and ensuring compliance with all health, safety, and quality standards. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated leader who thrives in a fast-paced engineering environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead planned and reactive maintenance activities across site services
- Manage and develop a team of engineering professionals
- Oversee asset planning and support long-term site development strategy
- Coordinate daily team activities, scheduling, and performance management
- Manage contractors and service partners to ensure safe and effective delivery
- Monitor KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with QHSE standards and operational requirements
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost control for maintenance operations
- Oversee CMMS and asset management systems performance
- Collaborate with stakeholders to improve service delivery and efficiency
- Identify and resolve technical and operational issues
Requirements
- Qualified in a Engineering discipline, Building Services, or related discipline
- Proven experience in building services or engineering maintenance
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
- Experience managing contractors and vendor relationships
- Understanding of QHSE and compliance requirements
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Experience using CMMS systems and Microsoft Office
- Background in manufacturing, production, or logistics environments desirable
