Equity Derivatives Lawyer

One of Europe’s leading investment banks is seeking an equities derivatives lawyer for initially a 6 month contract to be responsible for:

• Strategic Equity/Corporate Equity Derivatives

This involves bespoke transactions for corporate clients (public issuers), controlling shareholders, or private equity firms, aiming for capital-raising, hedging, or monetizing stock positions.

• Margin Loans (Securities Financing)

This involves lending against concentrated or liquid stock positions, requiring complex documentation related to collateral, negotiating and drafting complex facility agreements, share pledge agreements, and collateral packages (e.g., in London/EMEA context).

• Fund Financing (with Derivative Structures)

Leveraging derivative expertise to assist investment funds in obtaining liquidity.

• NAV Facilities: Advising on financing solutions secured by the Net Asset Value (NAV) of a fund’s portfolio.
• Derivative-Linked Financing: Using Total Return Swaps (TRS) and other synthetic structures to provide financing to funds.
• Security & Perfection: Creating and perfecting security over portfolio assets across multiple jurisdictions
