M&E Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Drive high standards of quality, ensuring compliance with relevant British Standards and client‑specific requirements
• Lead project risk management processes to ensure safe and efficient delivery
• Support the preparation and management of quotations, estimates, and commercial performance
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and client‑side project teams
• Work closely with design teams to ensure practical, cost‑effective and buildable solutions
• Ensure all projects are completed snag‑free, with timely delivery of final accounts and O&M documentation
• Mentor and support junior team members and trainees where applicable

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an M&E Project Manager within construction or building services
• Experience delivering projects within live/occupied environments
• Strong working knowledge of NEC3 contracts
• Solid understanding of health & safety legislation and multi‑site project delivery
• Experience producing quotations and estimates
• Ability to understand and align with client operational requirements
• Relevant technical qualification (City & Guilds / NVQ or equivalent in a mechanical or electrical discipline)
• SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid as a minimum (JIB/BESA desirable)
• Comfortable using IT systems such as MS Office and QA tools (e.g., Fieldview or similar)
• Strong communication, organisational, and problem‑solving skills
• Proactive, self‑driven, and solutions‑focused mindset
