HomeServe – Customer Service Representative

Do you thrive on customer conversations and making a real difference? We’re looking for motivated individuals to join our busy Customer Care department at our Walsall site (WS2 7BN).

Salary

£28,000 per year

Contract

Permanent, Full-time (40 hours per week)

Shift Rotation (4-weekly Cycle)

  • Monday to Friday: 8:00am – 8:00pm (8.5‑hour shifts with a weekend off)
  • 1 in 2 Saturdays: 8:00am – 4:00pm (plus 4 weekdays worked)
  • 1 in 6 Sundays: 10:00am – 4:00pm (plus 4 weekdays worked)
  • Bank holidays on a rotational basis included within the rotation above

Where will I work?

You’ll be based full‑time at our Walsall office during your probation period. After probation, you’ll be eligible for our hybrid model, with late shifts and weekends worked from home where possible.

Who is HomeServe looking for?

Enthusiastic, energetic and determined individuals to join our Customer Care team. In this role, you’ll support customers by answering queries about our policies and products, particularly at points where they wish to cancel, and where appropriate offer additional products that meet their needs.

No specific qualifications required. What matters is customer service experience and the following qualities:

  • Resilient and able to stay calm and professional in challenging situations
  • A great listener who can understand what our customers need
  • Eager to learn about our products, services, and systems
  • Dedicated to delivering outstanding customer service
  • Detail‑focused, so you can follow our processes accurately
  • Confident using a computer and learning new systems
  • Someone who enjoys working in a fast‑paced, supportive and fun environment
