We are looking for a part‑time Programme Facilitator who can work at least three days a week to help people make meaningful and sustained changes in their lives.
Role overview
In this role you will deliver Accredited Programmes and Structured Interventions to people subject to Community Orders or on licence after release from prison. You’ll work with individuals who have committed violent, sexual, domestic abuse and other offences. Majority of the programmes are in the evening, so evening work and weekly weekends are required. Travel to different locations within the regional area is necessary. There is no line‑management responsibility.

- Travel to multiple sites to deliver programmes.
- Work unsocial hours, including evenings and Saturdays (additional premium).
- Maintain detailed, accurate records and comply with the Sentencing and National Offender Management system.
Responsibilities and expectations
In addition to the duties listed above you will be expected to:
- Work part‑time for a minimum of 3 days a week.
- Finish on time for each session, meeting training and quality standards.
- Support clients on a one‑to‑one basis when needed.
Salary and benefits
Starting salary: £26,475 pro‑rata for part‑time roles. In addition, you will receive unsocial hours payments – 50% extra for Saturdays and 30% for evenings. Travel expenses can be claimed. The Civil Service offers a pay progression framework that allows you to move up within the pay band as your competence grows.
Eligibility
You must have the right to work in the UK and in the civil service.
