Professional Development is a critical aspect of a Graduate’s early career development ensuring professional competence is developed to support successful offboarding from the scheme. Throughout the three‑year programme, you will experience training that will enable you to gain the following competencies:
To help you discover and develop your true strengths in finance, you’ll be immersed in our supportive and inclusive working environment and given access to formal training including Introduction to Risk Management, Managing Financial Modelling Risks and Tax Accounting. Shell provides coaching and mentoring to help you discover your true potential within the finance sector.
The company is prepared to invest in you, as a Graduate, to help you build and maintain external qualifications. All Finance Graduates will be expected to study for either the ACCA or CIMA qualification during the three‑year Shell Graduate Programme. Following a structured, broadly‑based course with the discipline of having to pass exams at the end and meeting continuous education requirements will enhance your skills and improve your career prospects both inside and outside Shell.
