The Opportunity

This is a true hunter role.

We’re not looking for someone to manage a pipeline — we’re looking for someone to build one from scratch, open doors, and bring in new business.

You’ll focus on:

  • Winning new business across ITAD and IT lifecycle services
  • Growing opportunities within existing accounts
  • Creating and owning your own pipeline
  • Driving revenue through outbound activity and relationship building

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Proactively generate new opportunities through cold outreach, networking, and referrals
  • Identify and win new clients across corporates, public sector, education, and the channel
  • Own the full sales cycle from prospecting through to close
  • Focus on UK‑based corporate and public sector clients
  • Identify and win opportunities around IT disposal, refresh, and lifecycle services
  • Spot and develop opportunities within existing accounts
  • Cross‑sell ITAD, refurbishment, resale, and wider IT services
  • Build long‑term, commercially valuable relationships
  • Build, manage, and maintain your own pipeline
  • Keep CRM updated with accurate activity, forecasting, and reporting
  • Consistently hit and exceed activity and revenue targets
  • Represent Rapid IT in the market with confidence and credibility
  • Attend relevant networking events, industry events, and client meetings
  • Stay close to market trends, competitors, and opportunities

Who We’re Looking For

This role is for someone who is driven, commercially sharp, and not afraid to graft.

Must‑Have

  • 2+ years’ experience in an IT Business Development / Sales role
  • Proven ability to generate new business and win deals
  • Comfortable building your own pipeline from scratch
  • Strong communication and relationship‑building skills
  • Resilient, proactive, and target‑driven mindset

Nice to Have

  • Background in ITAD, IT lifecycle services, recycling, or IT services
  • Experience selling into B2B environments (corporate, public sector, etc.)
  • CRM experience and structured sales approach
  • Existing network within relevant industries
