SPR O&G LOCUM – Full Time 3 Months – Medium Unit in Essex

We are assisting an NHS client in Colchester who require a locum Specialty Doctor in O&G to join their team on a full‑time basis as soon as possible.

The successful candidate will support the O&G Department for an initial period of 3 months, working a minimum of 40 hours per week. This may be extended if required.

The hourly rate is negotiable for the right candidate and will be paid via PAYE on a weekly basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Theatre, a mix of elective and emergency theatre.
• Gynae Emergency Department (GED) – supporting junior doctors and ENP.
• On calls as per rota.

Requirements

• Hold a valid GMC Licence and MRCOG Part 1.
• Ideally have CEL from RCOG.
• Have Right to Work in the UK – visa sponsorship not available for locum roles.

All applicants must hold the right to work in the UK and must be able to start immediately. This is a full‑time, 3‑month locum position with potential for extension.
