At Nationwide, a Customer Representative role is responsible for supporting customers with our services across all channels – from transactions on the till, handling inbound calls, to supporting product applications through digital sales. Providing first‑class service in person, via phone and online.
It is an important role within the branch and serves as the gateway to protecting and looking after our customers while working closely as a team.
We need a Customer Representative for our branch on Tottenham Court Road, London.
This role is a permanent position working full time, 35 hours per week, Monday to Saturday. If advertised as part‑time the salary will be pro‑rata. You must be within a 45‑minute commute of the branch. Applicants from outside the catchment should apply to other closer vacancies.
Your training will be based virtually in branch, with a structured pathway designed to ensure success. No holiday is taken during the first three weeks.
Responsibilities
- Handle transactions on the till.
- Manage inbound calls from customers.
- Support product applications through digital sales.
- Provide first‑class service in person, via phone, and online.
- Educate customers on digital banking services.
- Use digital tools and applications to assist customers.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Strong communication and customer‑service skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team in a branch environment.
- Proficiency with digital tools and applications.
- Comfortable using telephone systems and POS equipment.
- Within a 45‑minute commute of Tottenham Court Road, London.
