Business Admin Apprentice (Level 3) – UK
Start Date: September 2026
Location: Murphy, 1 Bridge Court, Yew Tree Way, Stonecross Business Park, Golborne, Warrington, WA3 3JD
Key Responsibilities
Procurement
- Procuring IT equipment directly from approved suppliers, managing payment card transactions.
- Obtaining quotations for higher value IT goods and services.
- Raising order requests, ensuring purchase orders are approved and forwarded to suppliers.
- Processing delivery notes and invoices, flagging issues to IT Management.
Asset Management
- Processing mobile phone requests and submitting to mobile phone partner.
- Coordinating with IT teams and group security to return equipment from staff leaving the Murphy Group.
- Conducting regular audits of the IT assets database (CMDB) to maintain accurate records.
Financial
- Preparing and processing charges to other departments for IT equipment and services.
- Assisting the IT Commercial Manager in preparing cost reports.
Skills & Attributes

- Attention to detail and willingness to learn.
- Interest in IT, business analysis, and project management.
Requirements for the Apprenticeship
- GCSE Maths and English at grade A*-C / 4-9 (or equivalent).
- Ready to learn, with a positive mindset and a can‑do attitude.
- Eligible to work in the UK with a valid work permit if applicable; we do not provide sponsorship.
