Project Manager MEP

# Project Manager MEPLocationSunderland, Tyne and Wear, North East, EnglandNRL are working with a SME M&E Contractor who are recruting for a Project Manager MEP to join the team on a permanent basis. * Oversee projects from pre-construction through to handover and final account.* Attend site regularly to support teams and maintain quality standards.* Ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme, and within budget.* Maintain close relationships with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.* Take full ownership of project budgets and margins.* Work closely with QS/Directors on CVR reporting and forecasting.* Negotiate subcontract packages and manage variations.* Identify and manage risk proactively.* Lead final account discussions.* Review drawings, specifications, and scope documents.* Support or lead the preparation of M&E tender submissions.* Obtain and review subcontractor quotations.* Identify value engineering opportunities.* Good understanding of JCT / NEC contracts.* Attend client meetings and tender interviews.* Assist Directors in bid strategy and pricing approach.In a smaller business, you will be directly involved in shaping how we win work — not just delivering it.
