Job Description:

Are you organised, detail‑driven, and passionate about creating efficient procurement processes? Voyage Care is looking for a proactive Procurement Specialist to support our Procurement Manager and help strengthen our procurement operations across the organisation.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work collaboratively across departments including Finance, Legal, IT, Property, Operations and Services, ensuring we deliver value, drive improvements, and maintain strong supplier partnerships.

What you’ll be doing

  • Assist with building and delivering category strategies
  • Support cost‑saving initiatives and supplier optimisation
  • Conduct market research, benchmarking, and risk identification
  • Work with cross‑functional teams to help shape procurement decisions
  • Become a core user of our procurement systems (Coupa, VPS)
  • Maintain accurate supplier records, contracts, catalogues, and data
  • Help develop system training and process improvements
  • Raise and monitor purchase orders
  • Conduct spot buys within agreed thresholds
  • Support RFQs, tender admin, and initial quote analysis
  • Ensure all activity meets internal governance, ethics, and compliance
  • Assist with audits and inventory checks
  • Help track supplier KPIs and performance
  • Liaise with suppliers to resolve issues
  • Support internal teams with procurement queries, PO creation, and goods receipting
  • Maintain the procurement intranet page and mailbox
  • Prepare spend reports, dashboards, and performance analysis
  • Support forecasting and budgeting exercises
  • Identify process improvements from insights and trends
  • Take ownership of developing your procurement systems expertise
  • Help create internal training materials
  • Mentor junior colleagues where appropriate

✅ What we’re looking for

  • Experience in procurement or supply chain
  • Familiarity with Coupa or willingness to learn
  • Strong Excel and data management skills
  • Confident with AI and automation tools
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Proactive, organised, and able to juggle multiple tasks
  • A passion for continuous improvement and smarter procurement
