We are a registered charity dedicated to putting smiles on the faces of local families supporting children or young adults who have additional needs. We provide enriching free family leisure activities in Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire, and Bristol.

Family Leisure time is the best way to relieve social isolation and supports the mental and physical wellbeing of all families. It reduces stress, builds relationships, and provides a much-needed break from the challenges of everyday life.

We believe that everyone deserves to have the opportunity to enjoy leisure activities, and want to ensure that cost is never the reason you can’t try something new. That’s why all of our Absolutely Together programmes are free to access for the families we support.

we have 8 sites including Go karting tracks, gyms, climbing & skate park, a golf complex, laser and escape rooms.

we are looking for a part time Duty manager to work 32 hours per week at our Absolutely Karting Bristol site pay is £21,691.44 per annum

Key Responsibilities and Duties

Job Summary

You are integral to the daily operations of your venue. Leading the team on duty to ensure high quality service is always delivered to our customers. You will be proactively planning your shifts ahead of time, be a master of running our activities and leading by example in all you do. On shift, you lead a dynamic team, manage customer experiences, and create a fun, family friendly atmosphere that keeps guests coming back for more.

Your positivity and care towards our programme users will have a huge impact on their experience with us and in turn will give you a feeling of fulfilment.

You’ll play a key role in creating a welcoming and vibrant atmosphere where visitors can enjoy meaningful experiences. By managing daily operations, ensuring the venue is safe, clean, and well maintained, you’ll help create an environment where people of all ages can have fun and feel supported.

  • Key holder; Opening and closing the venue
  • Managing and delivering charity sessions
  • Running activities
  • Ensuring all daily checks are completed on time
  • Keeping staff and activities on schedule
  • Maintaining high standards of cleanliness at all times
  • Dealing with customer enquiries and complaints
  • Completing maintenance tasks and health and safety checks
  • Putting smiles on faces

Additional Responsibilities

  • Weekly site audits to highlight any tasks required
  • Managing daily catering requirements
  • Induction training for new starters
  • Cleaning and stock taking
