Business Development Manager – North of the UK (Scotland, North of England, Northern Ireland)

Home Based Role

£53,000 DOE

Benefits: Pension, Life Assurance, Sales Bonus, Car Allowance, Holidays

Role Description

Increase market share across the North of the UK, covering OEMs, end users and distribution.

Adopt a methodical approach: identify key prospects, build relationships with key customer stakeholders, and position products as solutions.

Utilise internal resources and collaborate with teams such as engineers and product managers.

Identify and win key projects – specifically major UK projects with significant revenue potential.

Key Skills & Qualifications

  • Business Development experience with consumables/components.
  • Sales and/or business development experience within a solutions‑led B2B environment – preferably with a manufacturer. 70/30 split between BD and account management.
  • Key Account management experience with proven ability to develop relationships and increase revenue.
  • Project Management experience – ability to manage sales opportunities through the pipeline to delivery across multiple stakeholders and both short and long sales cycles.
  • Strong networking and relationship building – internal and external stakeholders.
  • Must be based in North of the UK and hold a full clean UK licence.
