We are looking for a curious, research-driven Compliance Research & Insights Analyst to help position Shufti as a trusted authority on global compliance and regulatory developments.
This role is ideal for an early-career professional with a strong interest in regulation, fintech, AML/KYC, and emerging regulatory frameworks.
You will analyse regulatory developments across multiple jurisdictions and translate complex compliance topics into clear, insightful, and engaging content that supports our market positioning and thought leadership.
Rather than operating as a traditional internal compliance function, this role will act as a compliance intelligence engine, helping our organisation and our clients better understand regulatory trends.
Key Responsibilities
Regulatory Research & Analysis
- Monitor and analyse global regulatory developments related to KYC, AML, digital identity, fintech, and crypto regulation
- Conduct deep research across regulatory frameworks, policy changes and industry developments
- Synthesise complex regulatory topics into clear and actionable insights
Compliance Thought Leadership
- Produce high-quality compliance insights, articles, reports and commentary
- Translate regulatory developments into content relevant for compliance professionals, risk leaders and fintech executives
- Support the creation of whitepapers, reports, and compliance briefings
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Marketing to develop compliance-led thought leadership content
- Work with Product and Sales teams to ensure messaging aligns with regulatory developments
- Help position Shufti as a trusted authority in compliance and regulatory intelligence
AI-Driven Research
- Leverage AI tools and LLMs to accelerate research and analysis
- Use modern research workflows to quickly synthesize complex information from multiple sources
- Continuously explore new tools and methods to improve research efficiency
Industry Insight Development
- Identify emerging compliance trends across fintech, banking, crypto and digital identity
- Contribute to Shufti’s positioning as a trusted compliance resource for the industry
Key Skills & Experience
- 2 years experience in a compliance officer/analyst role in regulated industries, or in regulatory teams within law firms or consultancies. Relevant sectors include fintech, crypto, financial services, payments, gaming, or other regulated markets.
- Exceptional research and analytical skills
- Experience writing research reports, articles or analysis
- Ability to simplify complex regulatory concepts into clear insights
- Strong written communication skills
- High intellectual curiosity and ability to learn quickly
- Familiarity with AI tools / LLMs for research and analysis
