Now looking for a Sales Manager/Director to author and lead the UK & Ireland growth strategy and plan. Reporting to the UK Managing Director, you will lead a small sales team across the UK and Ireland to achieve incremental growth and successfully extend the company footprint.

You will have a deep knowledge of the food industry, be passionate about developing people and ambitious to drive business growth in both existing and new customers.

Responsibilities

  • Author and implement the UK & Ireland sales strategy aligned to company strategic objectives.
  • Lead, coach and develop the UK & Ireland sales team instilling a collaborative, high performance culture.
  • Set clear and ambitious objectives for the team focused on growth in both new and existing customers.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies aligned with business objectives and market trends.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with key clients, understanding how technology solutions can best address their business objectives and needs.
  • Engage and collaborate with cross functional teams including marketing, product development and customer support to ensure a joined-up approach.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows and conferences to promote the brand and build networks where appropriate.
  • Lead as a brand ambassador, internally and externally, consistently championing the culture and values.

Requirements

  • Proven track record in B2B technology sales (ideally in the food industry) with a solid background in achieving and exceeding revenue targets.
  • Deep understanding of the B2B technology solutions landscape, staying updated on industry trends, competitors, and emerging technologies.
  • Passionate about building long-lasting customer relationships.
  • Skilled at coaching, motivating and developing high performing sales teams.
  • Proficient in negotiating complex deals and contracts with a focus on creating mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Comfortable using data and analytics to inform decision making, measure performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Flexible attitude to adapt to evolving market conditions, technological advancements and organisational changes.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to address challenges in the sales process and find effective solutions.
