A specialist MGA operating at the forefront of the global energy transition is seeking an Underwriter or Senior Underwriter to join its growing Renewable Energy & Power portfolio. The business underwrites complex risks across construction, operation, repowering and decommissioning phases, supported by AA‑rated Lloyd’s and Company Market capacity.
The role will involve underwriting renewable energy and power generation risks across a broad, international portfolio, working closely with senior underwriting leadership in a lean, high‑performing team. You will handle technically complex project risks, support portfolio growth targets, engage with brokers and capacity providers across the London and international markets, and contribute to underwriting strategy and team development. The position offers meaningful exposure to portfolio development rather than purely transactional underwriting.
This opportunity will suit an underwriter with a strong background in Renewable Energy, Power or broader Energy classes, comfortable operating autonomously within an MGA environment.
