Solution Architect – Financial Services (Hybrid)

We’re working with a Financial Services organisation to recruit a Solution Architect. Reporting to the Lead Solution Architect, this person will join a growing team, shaping and delivering enterprise-wide technology solutions.

They will also lead the design and governance of application architecture, working across multiple domains (business, data, technology, and security) ensuring future-ready solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end solutions aligned to enterprise architecture strategy
• Define and govern application architecture standards and roadmaps
• Support delivery of technology initiatives to time, cost, and quality targets
• Provide input into business cases, budgets, and investment decisions
• Identify opportunities to improve systems, processes, and ways of working
• Ensure solutions meet risk, compliance, and security requirements
• Contribute to architecture governance and design authority forums

Key Skills Required

• Proven experience as a Solutions Architect in complex environments
• Broad technical understanding across applications, data, and cloud (Azure preferred)
• Experience delivering integrated solutions across multiple systems and vendors
• Ability to work across multiple projects and balance strategic and hands-on work
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

This role requires 2 days per week in the client’s Leeds office.
