Manual Test Engineer (SC Cleared / Eligible)
Contract: 6 to 12 months
Hybrid: 3 days onsite
End-to-end testing role covering application and network layers within a secure environment. You will own test execution across complex systems, ensuring stability, performance and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
• Design and execute functional, regression, integration and UAT testing
• Validate APIs, workflows, UI and data integrity across platforms
• Perform LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi and VPN testing including DNS, DHCP, routing
• Assess firewall rules, proxy behaviour and network performance under load
• Capture defects with clear evidence and drive resolution with engineering teams
• Produce test plans, RTM, reports and maintain artefacts in JIRA or ADO
• Support change and release cycles aligned to ITIL processes
Requirements
• 3 to 7 years manual testing experience across web, mobile or desktop
• Strong SDLC, STLC and defect lifecycle knowledge
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals TCP/IP, DNS, VLANs
• Experience analysing logs, network traces and backend data (SQL)
• Eligible for SC clearance, active clearance highly advantageous
