About the Role
This role is perfect for a hands-on IT professional who loves fixing hardware, setting up systems, and keeping operations running seamlessly. This is an exciting, practical role where no two days are the same, offering the chance to be part of a small, close-knit IT team and play a key role in ensuring technology supports people and business goals.
What You’ll Do:
- Provide first- and second-line support for end-user hardware and software issues.
- Install and maintain desktops, laptops, monitors, printers, and network peripherals.
- Assist with server and network maintenance.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access.
- Carry out routine system checks, backups, and monitoring.
- Maintain IT documentation for processes, devices, and support tickets.
- Contribute to small IT projects, including hardware upgrades and migrations away from costly virtual/cloud setups.
Technical Skills & Experience:
- Proven hands-on experience with PCs, laptops, printers, and servers.
- Ability to troubleshoot networking devices (switches, access points, cabling) and basic wiring.
- Familiarity with Windows Server, Active Directory, and user account management.
- Comfortable with hardware diagnostics, component swaps, and routine maintenance tasks.
- Hands on experience with Office 365.
