Manufacturing Engineering / Production Support Engineer

We’re seeking a Manufacturing Engineering / Production Support Engineer to join a fast-paced production environment, supporting the build of high-volume, technically complex products.

You’ll work closely with manufacturing and engineering teams to ensure efficient, high-quality production, driving improvements across processes, tooling, and standards.

What you’ll be doing

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to minimise production disruption
• Work cross-functionally with logistics, quality and engineering teams
• Drive improvements in efficiency, cost, quality and waste reduction
• Support engineering change processes and maintain tooling/jigs
• Develop and update SOPs, process documentation and technical standards
• Support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives
• Contribute to quality reviews and problem-solving activities
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and quality standards

What we’re looking for

• Engineering background (apprenticeship, HNC/HND or Degree preferred)
• Experience in manufacturing (automotive, leisure vehicle or similar ideal)
• CAD experience or ability to interpret engineering drawings
• Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills
• Understanding of BOMs and engineering change processes
• Knowledge of Lean / continuous improvement principles
• High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Desirable

• IOSH or NEBOSH qualification
• Experience with ISO 9001 environments
• Exposure to high-volume production environments
