Job Title: Commercial Property Solicitor (Finance-Focused)

Location: London (East / Greater London area)

Salary: Up to £50,000 (DOE)

Job Type: Full Time/ Perm, Hybrid Working: Available after probation

The Firm

A well-established regional law firm based in London, with a team of approximately 40 professionals. The firm has developed a strong reputation in property law and is currently experiencing significant growth within its Commercial Property team.

The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Solicitor (1–2 years PQE) to join a busy and expanding Commercial Property department.

This role offers exposure to a broad range of high-quality work, the opportunity to manage your own caseload (with appropriate supervision), and clear progression prospects within a supportive and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handling bridging finance transactions and refinance work across residential and commercial property matters
  • Drafting and negotiating commercial leases
  • Liaising with lenders and financial institutions
  • Assisting with, and where appropriate handling, auction purchases
  • Preparing detailed client reports with support where required

Technical Requirements

  • Familiarity with Practical Law Company (PLC) resources and precedents
  • Experience using standard OEA precedents
  • Ability to draft board minutes, resolutions, and director certificates
  • Understanding of corporate support work linked to property transactions
  • Exposure to or interest in AI / legal tech tools is advantageous

Candidate Profile

  • 1–2 years PQE Property Solicitor
  • Ability to manage a caseload with a good level of autonomy
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Proactive, responsive, and able to work to tight deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Confident and personable with clients and colleagues
