Mobile Plant Fitter (Construction Machinery)

Based in Belfast my client is a very successful and renowned dealership who sell a variety of heavy and light plant based machinery.To be suitable for this Mobile Plant Fitter position you must have recent hands on experience working as a Fitter in either a plant dealership, HGV dealership, plant hire, building / civil contractor, forklift, agricultural equipment or similar environment. As a Mobile Plant Fitter you will be offered a starting rate of £17.50 - £20 per hour depending on experience, overtime is paid at time and a half, van, laptop, tool allowance, mobile, pension and OEM training courses. They are also open to considering 3rd and 4th year apprentices but on a lower rate.

Role Mobile Plant Fitter

• Carrying out service, repair, maintenance and inspections on a range of state-of-the-art construction machinery.
• Diagnosing faults.
• Carrying out warranty repairs.
• Visual inspections, adjustment operations and testing.
• Stripping fitting and replacing components on construction machinery.
• Fully conversant with machinery hydraulics and electrics.
• Responsible for the fitting of mechanical / hydraulic components on new and used construction vehicles / machinery.
