Role: PLC Software Engineer
Location: Dungannon
Hours: Full Time (41.5 hours, early finish Friday)
Pay: £45,000 to £60,000

ThisPLC Software Engineer role is ideal for someone with strong PLC programming experience who enjoys working on real machinery, improving systems, and solving technical problems in a fast-paced engineering environment.

The Role:
- Program and develop PLC software for automated machinery and industrial systems
- Test, debug and optimise PLC control systems to improve performance and reliability
- Work closely with electrical and mechanical engineers on integrated automation projects
- Support HMI development and system interfaces
- Fault-find and troubleshoot PLC and control system issues
- Improve existing automation systems and machine efficiency
- Maintain documentation including wiring diagrams and control logic
The Requirements:
- Experience as aPLC Software Engineer, PLC Programmer or Controls Engineer
- Strong PLC programming experience (Siemens, Allen Bradley or similar)
- Background in automation, manufacturing, machinery or industrial equipment
- Experience with HMI systems and control panels
- Ability to fault-find and solve technical issues on live systems
- Electrical or Mechatronic qualification (HNC/HND/Degree or equivalent)
- Experience with CAN Bus / vehicle systems (desirable)
