Bookkeeper / Office
Working Hours:
5 days per week, approximately 2530 hours
Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Bookkeeper / Office Administrator to support our day-to-day financial operations and general office activities. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring smooth administrative processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing accounts using QuickBooks
- Preparing and reconciling monthly sales and supplier accounts
- Preparing and submitting VAT returns
- Processing payroll, including PAYE
- Managing workplace pensions (NEST)
- Assisting the company accountant with year-end financial preparation
- Handling general office administration duties
- Responding to customer account queries and processing payments
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar bookkeeping or office administration role
- Proficiency in QuickBooks
- Strong understanding of VAT, payroll (PAYE), and pension administration
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Good communication skills, with the ability to handle customer enquiries professionally
