HEAD OF INSTAGRAM - BEAUTY / COSMETICS BRAND
Hybrid role – 3 days in office, Central Manchester
About the Role
Our client, a high‑growth cosmetics/beauty brand, is looking to recruit a highly creative and experienced Instagram & Content Manager to lead the content strategy and execution for their rapidly expanding beauty e‑commerce brand's Instagram presence.
Responsibilities
- Fully own and manage the brand's primary Instagram profile, ensuring consistent, high‑quality content output.
- Plan, create, edit and direct engaging content, including photography, video (Reels/Stories) and graphics.
- Monitor social media trends in real‑time and quickly adapt to capitalize on viral moments and platform changes.
- Plan, execute and report on major social media campaigns, aligning them with broader marketing and e‑commerce goals.
- Maintain a strong, cohesive brand aesthetic and creative vision across all content.
- Collaborate effectively within a team environment, contributing ideas and best practices during in‑office days.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience in social media management, content creation or a related field, preferably within the beauty/cosmetics e‑commerce sector.
- Proven creative eye and exceptional attention to detail in visual output and copy.
- Adaptability – ability to thrive and cope effectively in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
- Innovation – demonstrated ability to think outside the box and develop unique, differentiating content concepts.
- Technical skills – proficiency in basic graphic design tools such as Canva, Adobe Express or similar.
- Experience in planning, executing and analysing measurable social media campaigns.
- Bonus: history or background in art and design is a distinct advantage.
