Audit Senior / Senior Manager – Cardiff

Clark Wood are currently working with a Top 30 UK firm of Chartered Accountants who are looking to recruit an experienced Audit Senior / Senior Manager to join their growing audit team in Cardiff.

The Role

• Leading audit assignments from planning through to completion, ensuring delivery to a high standard and within deadlines;
• Supervising the progress of audit engagements and reporting directly to the Audit Manager;
• Reviewing the work of junior team members, providing constructive feedback and ensuring quality control;
• Coaching, mentoring, and supporting the development of junior colleagues;
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships, working both remotely and on-site;
• Utilising a range of technological solutions to deliver efficient and high-quality audit services; and
• Working collaboratively with the wider audit team to deliver an excellent client experience.

The Ideal Candidate

• ACA / ACCA qualified (or equivalent) with strong audit experience;
• Proven experience managing audit assignments from planning through to completion;
• Strong leadership skills with experience supervising and developing junior staff;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines;
• A proactive and client-focused approach; and
• Experience working within a practice environment.
