The Role
The Senior Commercial Manager (SCM) is the commercial conscience and contract custodian for our major outsourcing agreements in a given sector.
The SCM acts as the guardian of margin and risk management. Working closely with the Client Partnering and Client Services leadership teams, the SCM will provide commercial support from implementation to exit, to help prevent contract erosion, reduce contractual risk for AMS and our clients, and create and convert commercial value.
Reporting to the Commercial Development Director, the SCM will also support them on, or lead, new logo deals and pre-signature engagements, as and when needed. As a senior member of the commercial team, the SCM is expected to operate with minimal direct supervision and demonstrate the ability to independently lead and conclude negotiations.
