The Deputy Grounds Manager will work collaboratively with other members of the team and under their own initiative to maintain the high quality of Highgate’s grounds. The role includes deputising for the Grounds Manager when they are absent, taking full responsibility for the safe management and delivery of planned and reactive grounds‑keeping tasks.
- Maintain and oversee the upkeep of cricket squares, artificial cricket wickets, football pitches, training grids, athletics tracks, and astro-turfs for netball, tennis and hockey.
- Deputise for the Grounds Manager in their absence, ensuring seamless supervision and decision‑making.
- Safely manage and deliver both planned and reactive grounds‑keeping tasks.
