Network Systems Engineer
Kent (Hybrid)
We are working with a fast paced Internet and Connectivity provider in Kent. They build and run the infrastructure that keeps people and businesses connected. It’s a close-knit technical team and they are growing – which means we need a solid Network Systems Engineer to help keep platforms running and improving.
This is a broad, hands‑on role. You’ll work across Linux systems, core ISP infrastructure (DNS, RADIUS, BNG, CG-NAT), monitoring, and internal tooling. You don’t need to be an expert in everything – strong Linux and networking fundamentals, an ISP or telco background, and a genuine curiosity to learn are what matter most.
What you’ll bring:
- Solid Linux sysadmin experience
- Good TCP/IP networking fundamentals
- Familiarity with DNS, RADIUS and core network services
- Some scripting (Python or Bash)
- Background in an ISP, telco, MSP or network-heavy environment
Nice to have: IaC, Ansible / Terraform, Icinga / Observium, containers – but these can be learnt here.
