Equans Security Officer (Permanent)
Equans is looking for a Security Officer to join our team in Westminster, London. This is a full time role working 56 hours per week. On offer is a salary of £40,872 per annum and benefits package.
Shift Pattern
3 days, 3 nights, 3 days off. 12hr shifts 0700hrs – 1900hrs, 1900hrs – 0700hrs.
What will you deliver?
To form part of a fully integrated guarding service which is operational 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, ensuring that the service provided is professional, timely and in keeping with contractual requirements. The aim of the service is to provide a safe and secure environment for all occupants, visitors and contractors within and around the building.
Please note employment in this post is dependent upon obtaining security clearance; this requires 5 years’ residency in the UK and a valid British or EU passport.

Qualifications
- A valid SIA (Security Industry Authority) License.
- Proven experience in a security role or a related field.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
- Clear criminal background check.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to resolve conflicts calmly and effectively.
- Basic computer literacy for logging reports and accessing security systems.
- Evidence of the right to work in the UK.
- Disclosure check may be required.
