Start Date: ASAP. Salary: £25.00-45.00.

About the Role

We support children and young people unable to access mainstream education in Swindon. The role involves delivering outreach, home tuition, and alternative provision on a flexible, long‑term basis.

Responsibilities

As a Tutor / Teacher you will:

• Work 1:1 with pupils with SEND, SEMH, medical needs, or those experiencing school refusal.
• Plan and deliver personalised sessions tailored to each learner’s needs.
• Engage learners outside of a traditional classroom.
• Maintain a strong relationship‑led engagement and adaptability.
• Apply behaviour management and communication skills.

Qualifications

• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
• Strong experience working with SEND, SEMH, or vulnerable learners.
• Proven experience planning and delivering personalised 1:1 lessons.
• Strong rapport‑building and engagement skills in a 1:1 setting.
• Child‑centred, dynamic, adaptable teaching approach.
• Strong behaviour management and communication skills.
