Responsibilities

• Assist the Manager in planning and implementing high‑quality nursing care for frail elderly residents, some with dementia.
• Manage and motivate a team of nurses and carers to ensure smooth running of the nursing home.
• Build strong relationships with management and care staff throughout the organisation and work autonomously.
• Maintain and assess the home's high‑quality care standards.
• Organise and motivate carers to deliver excellent standards of care.
• Assist with inductions and orientations of new care staff.
• Help uphold the home's reputation as a recognised centre of excellence.
• Liaise with other healthcare professionals and members of the multi‑disciplinary team.
• Perform administrative duties.

Qualifications and Experience

• Registered with the National Medical Council (NMC) – RGN or RMN.
• Minimum 5 years hands‑on nursing experience.
• Previous experience in a similar role essential.
• Excellent communication skills and passion for elderly/dementia care.
• Strong clinical skills.
