First Line Manager

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Front Line Manager, from a warehousing and logistics background, to work in our Doncaster site.

Responsibilities

• Assist the running of a safe and efficient operation.
• Work within clear guidelines to help achieve defined outcomes for the site and the customer(s).
• Proficiency in key areas: Health and safety, Security, Process framework, Customer engagement, Resource Planning, Performance Management, Continuous Improvement.

Qualifications & Skills

Technical Skills

• Microsoft Office
• Employment Law knowledge – basic
• Experience in Bonded Warehouse Systems – not essential
• Understanding of Warehouse Management Systems
• Operational warehouse supervision skills
• IOSH Managing Safely

Soft Skills

• Communication and relationship building at all levels (Customer, HMRC, Management, Operations).
• Ability to lead, direct and motivate across all departments.
• People management skills
