Job Title: Technical Engineer (Rolling Stock)
Location: London / Essex / Kent (Hybrid)
Salary: £50-£55k+ benefits
Role Type: Permanent; Monday-Friday (flexible/hybrid working options available subject to business needs)

Key responsibilities
- Supporting fleet reliability, availability, and meeting performance targets.
- Investigation and finding solutions to recurring technical and operational faults.
- Engineering sign‑off on certain activities within delegated authority.
- Working alongside depot and maintenance teams to resolve fleet issues in‑time.
- Data analysis to identify trends and risks.
- Supporting maintenance planning and engineering assurance processes.
- Contributing to continuous improvement and safety initiatives.
About you
- Must have rolling stock experience in reactive maintenance, technical support engineering, maintainability, or reliability‑focused role.
- Qualified to HNC / Level 4 (or equivalent) in any engineering discipline.
- Exceptional fault‑finding and analytical skills.
- Ability to work with technical data, systems and maintenance records.
- Strong communications skills to work alongside multiple departments.
