Field Service Engineer – Scientific & Industrial Laboratory Equipment
Location: Leicester, Nottingham and Derby
Salary: £45,000 – £50,000 plus company car and excellent benefits package.

As a Field Service Engineer you will perform planned preventative maintenance, service, breakdown and repair of a wide range of leading‑edge laboratory instrumentation at customer sites throughout the region. The role is home based and involves frequent travel to ensure the highest levels of customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct planned preventative maintenance and routine servicing on laboratory equipment.
- Diagnose and repair breakdowns on high‑value capital equipment.
- Travel to customer sites across Leicester, Nottingham, Derby and surrounding areas.
- Maintain high customer satisfaction through professional service and support.
Qualifications:
- Qualification in Electronics, Engineering or Science.
- Experience as a customer‑facing field service engineer, or ex‑HM Forces Engineer seeking a first move into field service.
- Experience servicing high‑value capital equipment.
