For Repair Care UK, we are looking for a Technical Account Manager. In this role, you are responsible for delivering technical expertise, contractor training and site-based technical services within your region. You support contractor engagement and product adoption by providing demonstrations, inspections, surveys, technical guidance and deliver paid for training courses
How you make the difference
As Technical Account Manager, you are the technical face of Repair Care in your region. You work directly with contractors, joinery companies and other professional users, helping them understand and apply Repair Care’s systems successfully. Through technical demonstrations, training and site support, you strengthen contractor confidence and help drive product adoption in practice.
What your agenda looks like
- Build relationships with contractors, joinery companies and other professional users in your region
- Approach new contractor contacts and introduce Repair Care’s technical solutions
- Support Specification Account Managers with technical expertise during contractor development and project discussions
- Deliver hands‑on product demonstrations and practical training sessions
- Carry out condition surveys of timber windows and doors and provide repair recommendations
- Deliver paid for training courses
- Produce structured reports and technical drawings where appropriate
- Provide technical guidance to contractors, merchants and internal teams
- Record activity, leads and tasks in Salesforce and related systems
- Contribute to project examples, case studies and wider technical initiatives across the business
Your team
You work closely with Specification Account Managers to support regional business objectives and contractor engagement. In addition, you collaborate with colleagues across the wider organisation and contribute to cross‑functional projects and initiatives. In this role, you connect technical expertise with market development and practical customer support.
What makes you a great fit
- Experience within construction products, building materials or timber repair systems
- Experience delivering product training or technical demonstrations
- Experience working directly with contractors or other trade professionals
- Good understanding of timber windows, doors and common repair challenges
- Knowledge of repair and restoration techniques
- Awareness of health and safety considerations, including working at height and hazardous materials
- Strong technical problem‑solving skills
- Confident presentation and training skills
- Strong relationship‑building, communication and influencing skills
- Accurate in surveying, reporting and documenting findings
- Practical, hands‑on and comfortable working on‑site
- Organised and disciplined in using CRM and other business systems
