Technical Network has been retained by a large manufacturer to recruit a couple of experienced Production Managers to work on a continental shift pattern. Responsible for one of their key production areas this role provides a brilliant opportunity for a resilient and driven individual to make their mark on a growing UK business.
Responsibilities
- Manage a high volume complex manufacturing process overseeing day-to‑day operations against H&S QCD performance metrics.
- Develop and grow direct reports and the team around you to build a positive and nurturing environment.
- Implementation and review of Standard Operating Procedures/KPIs across the department.
- Manage and mentor a diverse team, fostering engagement and professional growth.
- Drive a strong culture of Health & Safety on site.
- Lead and drive Continuous Improvement activities.
Benefits
- Salary: £55–60,000

Qualifications
- Experienced Production Manager, Production Supervisor, or Shift Manager within a fast‑paced volume manufacturing environment.
- Experience leading teams in a high‑volume/large batch production pressurised manufacturing environment.
- Experience coaching and mentoring a team.
- Ability to plan and organise manning, materials and production in a busy environment with excellent management, prioritisation and organisational skills.
- Assertive, independent and self‑sufficient with ability to cope effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Ability to drive performance against KPIs.
- Management or supervisory qualifications such as ILM, NVQ4, HNC, Degree, IOSH.
- Time served / BTEC Mechanical Engineering and lean/sigma training highly desirable.
