Salary: £35,000-£42,000 (dependent on experience)
Pension: Up to 28% Teacher Pension
Hours: Full-time (flexibility considered)

The Role
- Deliver engaging, industry‑relevant teaching across Mechanical Engineering disciplines
- Teach both practical workshop sessions and classroom‑based theory
- Support, mentor, and assess apprentices and vocational learners
- Supervise engineering projects and contribute to programme delivery
- Collaborate with employers to enhance real‑world learning experiences
- Contribute to curriculum development and continuous improvement
- Promote a culture of safety, inclusion, and excellence
Your Expertise Should Include
- Manual & CNC Turning and Milling
- CNC Machine Operation and Programming
- 3D Printing and Additive Manufacturing
- Engineering Drawing and CAD (SolidWorks preferred)
- PLCs, Wiring, and Electrical Circuit Testing
- Pneumatics and Fluid Power Systems
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline (Master's desirable)
- Experience working within the engineering industry
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Passion for teaching, mentoring, and developing future engineers
- Experience delivering Level 2 and 3 EAL apprenticeships or vocational training (desirable)
- Understanding of apprenticeship standards and work‑based learning (desirable)
