Salary: £25,566.00 per annum
Contract: Full time, 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday, fixed term

Job Overview
As an Apprentice Electrical Installation Engineer at Gov Facilities Services Limited (GFSL), you will support critical services across the prison estate. You will learn on the job alongside experienced electrical engineers, gaining practical experience in installation, testing, inspection, fault finding, and maintenance of essential electrical systems. Structured training and real responsibilities from day one will lay a foundation for long‑term career progression.
Responsibilities
Work under supervision to install, test, inspect, and maintain electrical systems across the prison estate. Assist with fault finding and routine maintenance tasks. Support experienced engineers in learning and applying electrical engineering principles.
Qualifications
- A to C grades for English, Maths and Science
- Demonstrated practical work or hands‑on technical interest
- Skilled in Microsoft Office suite of applications
- Good organisational skills
