Maintenance Engineer – FMCG
Shift: Monday‑Friday (6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm rotating)
Salary: £45,000‑£50,000
Overview
I'm working with a well‑established, global FMCG business looking to strengthen their engineering team with a hands‑on Maintenance Engineer. This is a fast‑paced, automated environment where you'll play a key role in keeping operations running efficiently and reliably.
Responsibilities
- Fault finding and repair across electrical & mechanical systems
- Maintaining production equipment and site utilities
- Delivering PPM activities to a high standard
- Responding to breakdowns and minimising downtime
- Supporting continuous improvement and reliability initiatives
- Working closely with the wider engineering and production teams
Qualifications
- Level 3 Electrical qualification (or equivalent)
- Strong hands‑on maintenance experience
- Confident fault finding across electrical and mechanical systems
- Experience within FMCG or manufacturing environments
- Good understanding of H&S and maintenance best practices
- Proactive, team‑focused approach
