Controls Engineer

The right Controls Engineer will support the site’s maintenance team (Controls/Technically) within a purpose-built, site-based automation environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the PLC technical repairs
• Prioritise system faults
• Error management
• Technical fault management, controller and communications to the wider network
• Adhere to agreed communication and fault management processes
• Identify any process failures and escalating as required
• Target maintenance activities as identified via the EIS / SCADA data analysis
• Root‑cause analysis of faults using industry-recognised tools
• Rectification and prevention of issues
• Experience with Siemens S7, ProfNet, Profibus, and Ladder logic

Qualifications

• ONC-HNC-HND or qualified engineering, OR BSc, or MSc
• Electrical control system experience
• Site‑based FMCG works/experiences
