MBDA are looking to secure the services of a Test Equipment Cyber Security engineer to provide specialist Cyber Security support across the Test Equipment Centre of Excellence domain, delivering effective information security solutions for test equipment and their associated product under test, providing documentation and evidence to support security approval and accreditation activities within the programme context.
Salary
£40,000 - £55,000 depending on experience
Dynamic (hybrid) working
Where project needs allow, we will seek to accommodate a blended approach to on‑site and remote working such as being onsite when necessary to work with people and collaborate, then working from home and around family commitments to work where you are most efficient.
Security Clearance
British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship. Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. All successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), which are managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.

Opportunity
The Test Equipment Cyber Security engineer will provide specialist Cyber Security support across the Test Equipment Centre of Excellence domain, delivering effective information security solutions for test equipment and their associated product under test, providing documentation and evidence to support security approval and accreditation activities within the programme context.
Qualifications
- Experience in the development of complex test systems including hardware and software integration.
- Experience of product / systems development lifecycle.
- Experience in generation of information security Risk Assessments, Risk Treatment Plans and Risk Management and Accreditation Documents.
- Knowledge and understanding of MOD and Government information security policy, standards and guidance, and ability to tailor them to the specific needs of our weapon system product range.
- Knowledge / appreciation of systems engineering, electronics principles, software technology and development principles.
- Preferably exposure of Cyber Security across the Systems Engineering, Development Lifecycle.
- Interpersonal skills to engage a range of stakeholders.
- Knowledge / exposure in contributing and adhering to cost, schedule, and technical performance trade-offs.
