Burns and Plastic Surgery Consultant | Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust

Responsibilities

• Responsibility for inpatient and outpatient management with 6 other Burns Surgeons and close working with the other team members to provide the highest possible standards of care in diagnosis and management of children and adults with burns.
• Specialist Burns MDT attendance.
• Collaborative working with the Burns MDT and wider Plastic Surgery Unit.
• Involvement in a 1 in 7 on call for burns trauma with prospective cover.
• Facilitate 7 day per week Consultant ‘on-site’ cover at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital.
• Contribution to postgraduate teaching of ST grades and StR grades.
• Lead for the existing work experience programme for prospective medical students.

Some roles may require weekend shifts at multiple sites.
