Waverley Education Foundation (WEF) is a Multi Academy Trust educating approximately 2,000 pupils across Waverley School and Waverley Studio College. The Trust is committed to delivering high‑quality education, leadership development, and services that improve outcomes for children and young people.
Opened in September 2013, Waverley Studio College educates students in Key Stages 4 and 5, with up to 75 students per year group and capacity for 300 students. The college specialises in Health, Creative Technology, and Enterprise, offering a distinctive curriculum enriched by programmes that develop students’ character, employability skills, and aspirations. Our core values of Humanity, Equality, Aspiration and Respect support our vision to create a learning community where we work together to achieve excellence in everything we do.
In the September 2022 Ofsted inspection, the college retained its Good judgement. Inspectors noted that “pupils behave well in lessons and around school and get on well together”.
Responsibilities
- Promote and deliver excellent standards of teaching and learning.
- Serve as a strategic thinker and lead on key areas of school improvement.
- Foster positive relationships with students, staff, parents and the local community.
The successful candidate will need to meet the requirements of the person specification in order to be offered the post and will be subject to an enhanced DBS check.
