Business Development Manager – Adults Social Care
Hybrid working: 1/2 office days based in Manchester
Salary: Up to £65k
A growing, well-established organisation in the adult social care sector is looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to support its next phase of expansion.
The role:
You’ll take ownership of driving new business opportunities, building strategic relationships, and supporting sustainable growth across a portfolio of services.
This includes working closely with local authorities, commissioners, and key stakeholders within adult social care.
Key responsibilities:
- Identify and secure new business opportunities within adult social care
- Build and maintain relationships with commissioners and partners
- Lead on tenders, proposals, and contract negotiations
- Support market analysis and growth strategy
- Collaborate with operational teams to ensure successful mobilisation of new services
About you:
- Applicants MUST have management experience in business development within the social care sector
- Strong understanding of commissioning and tender processes
- Established network with local authorities and/or NHS stakeholders
- Commercially astute with a track record of winning new business
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
