Mechanical Design Engineer

I’m currently working with a well-established, multi-disciplinary consultancy to support the growth of their building services team in Glasgow.

This is a strong opportunity for a Mechanical Design Engineer looking to develop within a collaborative environment, working on a broad range of projects across sectors including commercial, residential, and education.

The role:

• Mechanical design across all project stages (Stage 2–4 typically)
• Working closely with senior engineers and wider design teams
• Involvement in client meetings and coordination with other disciplines
• Opportunity to take ownership of packages as you progress

What they’re looking for:

• Experience in mechanical building services design
• Comfortable producing designs, calculations, and specifications
• Familiar with industry software (e.g. IES, Hevacomp, Revit experience beneficial)
• Strong communication skills and a proactive mindset
