Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain HSE systems aligned to ISO standards
  • Ensure compliance with UK HSE legislation and industry best practice
  • Lead audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations
  • Support safe delivery of engineering projects and site operations
  • Oversee contractor safety and high-risk activities (e.g. lifting, pressure systems, hazardous substances)
  • Drive continuous improvement and promote a positive safety culture
About You: 
  • Proven HSE leadership experience in engineering, manufacturing, or energy sectors
  • NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent) essential; relevant degree preferred
  • Strong knowledge of UK health & safety regulations and process safety
  • Experience in high-hazard environments (e.g. chemicals, gas, or similar)
  • Confident communicator with a hands-on, proactive approach
