The Role

An experienced Biomedical Scientist will join the Clyde Sector Biochemistry team working across Royal Alexandra, Inverclyde Royal and Vale of Leven Hospitals. The successful candidate will be based primarily at Royal Alexandra Hospital, but will also work at Inverclyde Royal and Vale of Leven sites as required. The department has recently undertaken a full refresh of its Core Laboratory area, provides a small Specialist Metabolic Service (including Protein Electrophoresis and PiiiNP assays), and supports Point‑of‑Care services across all three sites and some mental health settings.

This is a maternity cover post for 12 months. It is a non‑shift working position at 0.58 WTE (20.88 hours per week). Flexible working days and hours can be negotiated.
