An exciting opportunity has arisen for a hands-on Technical Project Manager to join a leading organisation delivering high-quality live experiences for globally recognised brands and venues.
This is not a desk-based role, it’s for someone who thrives in live environments and wants to be actively involved in the technical delivery of events.
⚙️ The Role
You’ll take ownership of the technical delivery of live events, supporting the design, coordination, and on-site execution of lighting, audio, and video systems.
You’ll be hands-on throughout, from planning through to live execution, stepping in to troubleshoot and resolve issues in real time.
Key Responsibilities
• Support on-site delivery and live event execution
• Collaborate with clients to develop technical solutions
• Manage project schedules and budgets
• Produce technical documentation (system designs, safety paperwork)
• Lead and coordinate technical teams across projects
• Oversee integration of lighting, audio, and video systems
• Build and maintain strong client relationships
What We’re Looking For
• Experience in a similar role (AV Project Manager, Technical Project Manager, Production Manager, etc.)
• Proven end-to-end live event production experience
• Strong technical knowledge of AV systems (lighting, audio, video)
• Experience with system design, implementation, and troubleshooting
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and rental software
• Ability to manage budgets, logistics, and client expectations
• Confident working in fast-paced live environments
• Full driving licence (desirable)
